Chocolate orange bites

Like many other foodies I love Instagram! Do not go on instagram when you’re hungry as some pictures are just too good to be true. These chocolate orange bites are almost too good to be true! The lovely user who posted these goods is ‘She can’t eat what‘! I had to try them and if I might add… they are delicious! You can find the original recipe right here!

For some reason I always make balls (or bites) like these. You can actually make so many different variaties but these really spoke to me. Something about orange and chocolate. To be completely honest with you I just thought of a new combination.. If you need me, I’ll be in the kitchen!

Chocoladeballetjes met sinaasappel

  • 170 gr. almonds
  • 100 gr. walnuts
  • 130 gr. dates
  • juice of 1 orange
  • rind of 2 oranges
  • 20 gr. liquid coconut oil
  • 30 gr. cacao powder
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon

Preparation of the chocolate orange bites:

This is another ridiculously easy recipe as you toss everything into your food processor until its properly mixed. Roll the mixture into small balls and garnish with a bit of fresh cinnamon. You can store these into the fridge for a maximum of five days.

If you’ve made these chocolate orange bites let me know what you think!
