Avocado smoothie with mango and banana

Smoothies are the perfect way to start your day! Besides the fact that I love fruit, I absolutely love avocado’s too! I have to be honest with you.. these past couple of months it actually feels like I have a couple great loves when we’re talking food. Avocado’s, eggs and bacon. I can eat them and add them to everything. But we were talking about avocado’s and fruit. How convenient is it that those two can be combined perfectly? Try out my recipe for an avocado smoothie with mango and banana. Great at breakfast, lunch or a healthy ‘snack’ in the afternoon.

Ingredients for one avocado smoothie:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Splash of lime infused water (just water with some lime set overnight)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Preparation:

Just like every other smoothie it’s time to take out the blender! Put the banana, mango, avocado and lime water in the blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glas and serve with a tablespoon of chia seed on top.
